Malaysia Government Student Loans (ptptn)? Is PTPTN the only student loan available from the government? Also, my friend qualified for almost $10,000.00 USD student loan from the Malaysian Government. I thought the government only loans out to students who come from lower to average income families? And regarding repayment of these loans: Is it true you can't leave the country until the entire amount is paid for? If my friend who comes from a wealthy family took out a government student loan and is still repaying it, does that mean my friend might be lying to me about coming from a wealthy family? My friend said she refused to have her parents to pay for her university education, so she took a government loan. If you are wealthy, wouldn't you take a loan from the bank instead? I thought all government student loans are for lower to average income families? My friend's parents are wealthy, so how was this possible?

Aren't Libyans Fools , when they rejoice Col Muammar Gaddafi's Death ? What is the future of Libya ? Aren't Libyans Fools , when they rejoice Gaddafi' Death ? =================== http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/world/middle-east/Muammar-Gaddafi-son-Motassim-killed-dictators-body-placed-in-mosque/articleshow/10431215.cms ------------------------- Col Gaddafi might have been a tyrant , but he was Libya's only Bet against Foreign Powers. Most Libyan people ( under Gaddafi ) - had free electricity, and free water received free and quality medical care, has free education, and state loans to go to university abroad could get no-interest loans from the state-owned Central Bank of Libya, could get paid 50% of the purchase of a car, by the government could get $50,000 for newly married couples to buy a house benefited from the government policy of housing for all could buy cars at subsidised prices can buy petrol at 10p a litre In 2010, Libya had the highest GDP per capita, Education Index, and Human Development Index in Africa as well as some of the highest health indicators in Africa. Libya was one of the few nations in the world with no debt What is the future of Libya ? ===================== Can a weak transitional government give Libyans , anything out of the Oil Wealth. Libya was attacked only for Oil & once Oil is over , Libya will start looking like Chad , Mali & other very poor african Countries . Libyans dont have any technology & even fertile land ( like Vietnam , Malaysia or indonesia ) Libya is simply Desert Once Oil is Over ( maybe in a few decades ) Libya would be extremely Poor .
If Switzerland can become a high income nation without building high rise tower like Petronas twin tower? 100 storey building and other Mega project, then why can't Malaysia. Many European countries are able to do it. What the point of having many high rise tower if many of our people still live in poverty, doesn't have the access to proper education like in rural area of Sabah and Sarawak, Even in Kota Kinabalu itself i see many children accompany their mother who work as rubbish collector, or help their parents selling vegetable in the daylight, they do not have the means to go to school. For example Philippine they have 3 biggest shopping mall in Asia and yet they still remained a poor country. Isn't that better if the RM 5 billion is use to give public micro credit loan to start business, long term loan for SME. Without transparency, focusing on high tech, openness, developing human capital and trade liberalization but focus entirely on Mega Projects how actually we are going to be a high income nation. If you look at many high income nation politicians need the backing of the society, and need to be controlled by the society.
The standard of living in Singapore is so high...how do I keep up? Everything is about money. I feel so stressed out. Why can't there be a simpler way? Me and my 2 years bf is getting married next year but money strained our relationship most of the time. First ROM needs money, a simple dinner needs money, wedding photos needs money, dowry = money, flat = money... I even do my part to help him out whenever he has trouble getting and being employed. The sad thing is that dowry also I need to help out. I guess I have no choice because I do love him, in a way. I hope he don't disappoint me in the future. The worst part is that we are trying to own a BTO HDB flat (which we do not know whether are we entitled or not) due to me. Myself a SPR from Malaysia, do own a landed property for more than 5 years which is still under loan. That property, initially does not really belongs to me as it's my father who needed to refinance the property for my siblings education purposes. At that point of time, his age doesn't allow him to refinance, so he has to borrow my name instead because I am the one eldest child working and eligible to own a property. In a way, my parents don't have to worry where is the next meal comes from (during that time, with his age, it is not easy to find a job). Now, the problem arises from my side. Me and my bf might be having problem owning a BTO HDB flat because of the property in Msia. Our income is not that fantastic and he doesn't have a secure job. Currently staying at his parent's place doesn't allow me to put my things. His room is just a small room occupy with a lot of boxes (which belongs to me). Other than that, I have a health problem which requires me to consumed chinese medication. How do I keep up with life if problems keep coming in and no solution to it?
