Are there any private student loans I can get for more than the cost of attendance?

I'm going to a really expensive school and my parents can't help me out at all. I figured out how much I would need and then compared it to their calculated cost of attendance and it's in excess. Are there any private student loans I can get for more then the cost of attendance?

2. First, ask the aid office if they would be willing to increase your cost of attendance. I'm surprised your expenses are more than what they estimate since they are usually pretty generous. However, yes, there are some lenders that do not require financial aid certification; however, they usually have pretty high fees and interest rate. 3. yes there are many private lenders but all they need is a co signer who can take the responsibility of paying the loan if ur not able to pay, and in these cases mostly parents are the co signers. All the terms should be taken into consideration before signin for anything. Apart from that you will find many lenders and do chose those lenders who is in this buisness for years.
