Private College Student Loan

Student loan help???? discharged loan??

PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY..back in the day, there was a school called or institution called COMPUTER LEARNING CENTER...the school was closed due a bankruptsy and the factor that it was overcharging on loans and not giving proper education. soooo as of 2003 my roomates loan was officially discharged and there was a clause in the contract that if the school was bankrupted or closed- THE LOAN WAS VOID. NOW THE DEPT OF ED. AND COLLECT agencies want my roomate to pay the loan, and even though the loan had been discharged, they have taken tax return money and garnished wages and still want their money back..any help? can anyone help me with this? links? what does she do? she has a paper stating she is no longer responsible for payment but they keep requesting payment..collection agencies..ohh the loan was with sallimae.

1. She needs to contact a lawyer, seek legal help regarding this. If she has documentation stating she is not responsible for this loan, that she be held accpetable. When the collection agency contacts her again, maybe she should ask them the name of their companies lawyer , then send the law office her letter stating she doesnt have to pay anything.
