Private College Student Loan

My college's name is not under chase bank. Can i still get a private student loan?

I have been trying to apply for a private student loan with a co-signer. But the only problem is my college does not have its name with the banks. Is there a ways that i can get a loan on my name and not on college's name ? Because i think they misguided me. I need your help please... i m really upset ...

1. I wouldn't recommend Chase if you want a private loan, I've heard horror stories from a lot of people I know that have done student loans, car loans, etc. with Chase. Why not go to finacial aid and get a federal student loan through the school? Those aren't based on credit so you wouldn't need a co-signer. I'd go talk to financial aid again. If you want a private loan for sure, do some research and ask friends/family which banks they've used and what they're happy with.
