Not one dollar is appropriated to make fossil fuels more affordable in the near future. 1. It needs to be bigger, spend baby spend!
2. Upstate NY has the most government jobs, spends near the top on programs, and spends the most on Education, and we have the 2nd highest poverty rate and it's been climbing for decades. This notion that more government will get us out of this mess is shortsighted. There are long term funding issues when government expands, and it's only a matter of time before the taxpayer cannot handle it anymore. Obama is doing what he said he would. Redistributing wealth right into the pockets of government unions. We are all going to get the bill. This Bill eliminated the important projects that our area needs, and sends the money to Albany where it will disappear like the rest of our tax dollars. The state employees get raises and pensions and we get zip because the businesses that employed people couldn't afford the taxes anymore and fled. It's an outrage how the unions say things like "it's for the children" when they take 90% of the Education funds. Then they push for higher state taxes, and they don't even pay them. Nice system. It creates poverty.
3. I see very little stimulus, just an effort to further deficit spend. For this amount of money I'd rather cut a check to each American for $2,500 or so and let them decide where the money can go. The money is either going to go in the bank (helping sovlvency) the stock market (increasing demand, thus increasing price) or be spent, most likely helping out the rest of the economy.

5. This federal power grab is a serious danger to our great United States. I hope we can recover from it during future presidential administrations and future generations. I have always thought America was somewhat honest and most people were of good character. I am beginning to have my doubts.
6. The $500 per individual was cut down to $400. A whopping $13 extra a week for two years. Now that ought to stimulate... nothing. The bill is sham. WORTHLESS!
