How do I find out how many loans do I have to start paying in a month ?
My student loans were deffered for a year , So far the payments that i have to make are of following Sallie mae , Citi Bank and Great lakes ( i consolidated all my federal loans with them ) .. Now how do I find out if I have any more loans or not? These are the only people who are sending me mail every month so I am guessing these are the only loans i took out , i was in college for 6 years . Where can I get all this information in detail ? I have no clue of my loan informtions because i was depressed all through my college life.

- Keeping up with your loans is *your* job. Go through all of your records. If you move and the lender can't find you, it doesn't mean you can skip making payments. If you default on student loans, there can be serious repercussions! You should be able to add up all the money you received and account for it by looking at your loan balances.
- You have no clue what loans you have? Seems like someone that went to college would remember where they got loans from. You could pull a credit report and see what it shows.
- Simple, pull your TRWs (credit reports) at Transunion.com, Experian.com or Equifax.com. It will be on there whether you are paying or not. You will see everything from phone number, creditor name, amount you owe, and if you are "late." While you have the credit report, you may as well work on your credit score.
