Question about Direct Loans and Summer School?

I know they require you have to be enrolled half time in order to keep from the 6 month deferment to start paying the loan, does that count for summer school because I don't plan on taking the summer term? Or do they just consider the fall/spring enrollment?

1. Taking the summer off isn't over six months so you will be fine but to answer your question more directly, yes they do count the summer months, but the summer is only about 3 months and not six. If you choose not to enroll after the summer is up they DO count from the last month you were enrolled in and NOT after the summer was over.
