I receive a letter from DIRECT LOANS(yes a loan to cover expenses from college)?
i would like to know what "Expected Repayment Start Date" exactly means? Does this means i dont have to make any payments until that date? thank you My expected repayment start date is 03/01/2015. Does that means i dont have to make any payment until that date?

- You are correct, you start making payments at, or around, 3/1/2015...OR, you can defer it for another 6-9 months.
- That is correct, but unless your loan is a subsidized loan your interest will start accruing from the date the loan was disbursed right up until and through your loan payments. So if your loan is unsubsidized, and you had thought you were going to be making payments anyway- you might want to at least pay the interest until you graduate.
- Thats their estimated time that you will finish school and go through the initial deferment. No it does not mean you have to make a payment now or even on that date depending on you circumstances in 2015! You can; however, choose to pay the interest that accrues or you can leave it..
