Can I get any benefits of my father being a previous staff member(retired) of SBI, in my education loan?

Is there any clause that the child of Staff member of SBI would have to pay less interest than usual one in education loan? I mean if my father is co-applicant of my education loan and I am dependent on his pension?? Thanks. 1. Yeah Dear, being an officer in loan processing department in SBI, I can confirm you that if u r a ward of an official or ex-official of SBI, u get the concession of 0.5% in interest rates.
