Private College Student Loan

Can I apply for colleges, loans, and grants before my Senior year of High School?

  1. Not really. Colleges usually want to see a high school transcript, and you wouldn't be able to give them much of one with out having reached your senior year. Most scholarships and grants are for a particular semester, and they require that you are first admitted to a college before awarding them.
  2. I don;t think so, but you can apply for scholarships however. Please get them while you can. Even if it's for a small amount apply for them. When you get into your senoir year around febuaury you are going to want to fill out your fasa. The sooner the better. First come, first serve. However, I think funding depends in the type of school you go to. I want to go to an art school, and their funding is pretty crappy.
  3. only scholarships
  4. There are many types of scholarships, loans and grants and you can get much information regarding scholarships from many countries (USA, European countries, Singapore, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, etc) for many different subjects (architecture, language, maths, laws, biology, physics, etc) at the official site at: http://grantsforcollege.blogspot.com You can also get the tips on how to get scholarships there. Good luck:-)
  5. Yes you can apply for loans and grants before your senior year. It depends on the type of loans/grants you are applying for. The federal program does not allow you to do so but a lot of private programs do. As for applying for college, you can apply for early enrollment (if you have enough credits for both high school and the college) you must meet the eligibility requirements.
