For students who get their student loans from federal direct loans what do they disbursed funds to your school?
im still waiting on my loans to disbursed to my school it was suppose to come last tuesday but it still not here i called the school they said that everything is ok there is nothing missing on my file all the paper work is done but they don't know the exact date/day it will be posted to my account does anyone know where i can find that out i tried their website but i got nothing

- I would try the contact us section http://www.direct.ed.gov/callus.html I already got my loans disbursed and I think it's normal to get them at the very beginning of the year so something might be wrong there.
- just hang in there. Remember that fall semester just started and there are thousands of students out there in the same situation like you. You should expect to receive your funds shortly. And if you due a refund you will receive it after the adjustment period.
- With my my disbursement was delayed as well, by about a week or so... Don't be TOO worried if it's a little bit late, it's the government after all.
- No telling, no way of knowing. This is the problem with people going off to college dead broke, when in reality they should have a surplus of funds that would last them the semester (at least), as the same exact thing is going to happen every semester while you're waiting for leftover aid to be disbursed.
