Dropping out of college/ Student Loans?

I'm a freshman in college and i have a chase student loan. i was curious can i drop out before second semester starts. and only pay for one semester and not the rest?

1. I assume if you drop out before the no refund date then you should be able to adjust your payment.
2. You can request the second disbursement to be canceled anytime before it disburses to you. If you cancel it before it disburses, you will not owe it. Even if the money happens to disburse to you, you still can return it to the lender without penalty.
