Private College Student Loan

Can I get a student or parent loan when I've never worked, am 17 years old, and my mom has bad credit?

Hi there. My mom makes an annual income of $24,600 and has a bad credit report. I am seventeen-years-old and a senior in high school. I've never worked before and am going to remain a full time student at Boston University. I am missing $4,468 to cover my entire attendance cost. I have applied to a million loans, from Citizens to CitiBank to Sally Mae, and I've been denied by all of them. Even with my single mother as a coborrower, I have been denied one after the other. Are there any student or parent loans out there that don't mind low credit report or I being a full time student? I've already received a subsidized stafford direct loan, but can I receive anymore federal loans by applying somewhere? Please help me. Thank you!

  1. Well, I am sorry about your situation. There are a bunch of scholarships that don't mind in low credit, but they are few. But you should also apply for the FAFSA. To apply, go to: http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ I hope it helps you, and keep the faith.
