Private College Student Loan

Is it ok to apply for a loan for education prior to getting an acceptance?

I got something fro chase for a loan that I will most likely HAVE to take out. I am not sure which college I am going to attend. Is it ok to contact them anyway about it?

1. Isn't there a set process to that stuff and you can't have one without the other? *Edit* I answer a lot of your questions, I hope I've helped a li'l bit.
2. I did a loan from chase...It takes about an hour to apply and a couple of weeks to get the money, if that. You need to know where the money is going before they will give it to you and you need something showing your proof of enrollment. You can't finish your loan application without this information. FYI a loan should be your last option and the people who you really need to talk to are the Financial Aid counselors at your school. Even if you haven't been accepted they will be willing to help you figure out what you need to do in order to come to their school. Also, a private loan like Chase student loans have lots of interest....LAST OPTION!
