Chase cancels their private student loans?
Is anyone else feeling pretty helpless, now that Chase canceled the last direct to student loan you can get? They still have their school certified loan, but many people use the direct to student one for books and rent. I know, it really does. I only have a little left to go before I graduate, but the government loans won't cover all my costs. It really does suck.

- That is sad news. Many large banks have gone this route. However, I think that there are still a few options out there. I found 3 sites that seem to still offer this and continue to advertise direct to student loans on their sites (I have not called to ask them). Here are the sites: https://www.wellsfargo.com/student/graduate/education/ http://www.monticellostudentloan.com/ http://www.directstudentloans.com/graduate-private-student-loan.php Please note that I am not personally familiar with the above sites, I simply discovered them via searching the net.
- I'm in the same boat with you man. They were the only bank I could always rely on to get approved for loans. And now this; I needed one last loan so I could transfer schools and move to FL from NY. Now I might be stuck in NY and not able to transfer. The economy sucks.
