Private College Student Loan

Student loans for transportation costs?

I'm a commuter student and usually take out a bit of money from Chase Student Loans to pay for transportation. The check is sent directly to me and using it for transportation costs (ie gas, car, train, etc) is completely legal. Chase isn't doing private loans any more unless it goes straight to the school. Are there any other companies that send the check directly to the student? Thanks.
