Private College Student Loan

I have a Chase Student Loan. If I withdraw from school, can I still wait four years to start paying on it?

  1. With most student loans, if you withdraw from school, you immediately start paying it back. You might want to read you MPN. (Master Promissory Note)
  2. No, if you withdraw, you have to begin paying the loan at the end of your grace period, for most loans the grace period is 6 months. If you don't know how long your grace period is, you will have to call Chase to find out.
